To declare yourself as an IKUMA's associate, the International Budo Pass' possession is needed. The International Budo Pass is the document who certifies the activites in the chosen martial art. To be considered valid, the International Budo Pass has to be renewed regularly. Tha affiliation to IKUMA cna be requested for groups or individually; in both cases the International Budo Pass is issued to the associated members from the international organisation. IKUMA Official Agent.
The IKUMA Official Agent is the official representative of the Karate Do and Martial Arts Union for the designed nation or for parts of this nation, as well as for more nations. This is an annual office, and the IKUMA Official Agents receive a letter at the beginnnig of every year. No letter nor office is renewed automatically, and no one can be an Official Agent without the exhibition of the autenthic letter.

How to obtain the International Budo Pass:
This is the official document proving the activities done by a person, being this person with Dan, Kyu, Qualifications or Titles. It has to be requested by filling the joining form, which can be downloaded in the section forms and attaching 2 (two) recent pictures in card size. Rates for International Budo Pass. - In order to obtain the International Budo Pass you need to pay, at the moment of the first inscription, the entry rate and the rate for the current year. Also, you need to envoy the joining form (downloaded and with the 2 pictures attached to) and the agreed rate at the IKUMA headquarter; - To obtain the year renewal is enough the envoy the annual rate (the renewals has no entry rate) to the IKUMA headquarter, receveing the stamp to attach in the apposite space; - Without the stamp issued by the IKUMA headquarter, it is not possible to partecipate to the IKUMA's activities, and the International Budo Pass, to be considered valid, has to contain all of them. One or more missed stamp can be requested by paying the annual rate of the year. - Thanks to the obtained certification, the missing renewal of the International Budo Pass voids it, also avoiding the grades contained.
Annual Affilitiation and Reaffiliation. The affiliation's chance, or the chance of the reaffiliation, of the IKUMA International Budo Pass can be performed between January and Decembre of the current year. Usually, in the month of February of the referring year, these operations starts to be performed.

WARNING:
The request and issue of the IKUMA International Budo Pass DOES NOT record automatically the declared Dan, and in order to obtain them is necessary to follow the following proceedings. Automatically renewed are only the Kyus which has to be signed on the IKUMA International Budo Pass by a Master allowed by the headquarter. No IKUMA International Budo Pass has value without a picture attached on it and avoided by the IKUMA stamp. The entry rate, affiliation and reaffiliation can be requested to the IKUMA HeadQuarter, and payed in USD (USA current) or EURO. No different procedure is allowed. The request, also by e-mail, has to contain surname and name of the requiring person or club, the country and a telephone number.
